Came across this delightful cafe in Beverley just off Saturday market. It is quite small, approx 20 seats indoor and a few outside. The atmosphere was so relaxed, great background music and an overall cosy welcoming feeling. The menu was very good with plenty to choose from but not the "beans on toast, sausage sarnie type". We chose cheese and caramelised onion open toastie, mozerrella, pesto and sunblush tomato open toastie with some sweet potato fries side. Both were absolutely delicious and made with quality produce. The prices for all items on the menu appeared to us to be very good value. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return. Thankyou for a lovely lunch.

Lovely little cafe in Beverley. I had a crispy chilli chicken wrap, which was freshly made and tasted delicious. Perfect for lunch. My sister had the soup and a sandwich, she has gluten intolerance, and gluten-free bread was available. The service is friendly and felt personalised. I will definitely be going back.

This is a lovely cosy cafe, not much room inside but enough. The staff are great and the food is also very good quality. We called in for lunch whilst working in Beverley, had a lovely meal and a good chat with the owner. No parking directly, you’d need to use one of the public car parks and walk.

It was recommended by plenty of my friends and colleagues. Definitely was worth it. Very reasonable price and very good portions size. It not very big but spacious enough not hitting neighbours leave. Definitely coming back. I had the seafood sandie (prawn tempura, scampi and fish fingers sandwich with chips and coleslaw)

We have regularly been hosted by Tom, Fran and the team at their old venue in Beverley and were keen to visit the Monkey Tree to see what delights they had in store and we were not disappointed. The staff are friendly and welcoming and so informative. We were there for breakfast and my friend had the croissant (freshly warmed and apparently delicious) whilst me and our other friend opted for pancakes topped with poached pears, toffee cream and pecans. It was simply divine! Filled us both up and was possibly the best breakfast ever. We weren't made to feel rushed and stayed and had a second drink whilst we chatted in the full venue. Congratulations to Tom, Fran and the team for having a vision and bringing it to life in such an amazing way. This will definitely be a regular stop for me when I am in Beverley!

Had a wonderful lunch ( can recommend the avocado and crayfish salad...big portion) in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Made to feel really welcome and it was like having lunch with family as everyone was chatting to each other. The staff were super nice and my daughter and I had a really great time. Will definitely return...intrigued by their theme nights.

This is a very nice little cafe in Beverley which serves breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas etc. They used to be in the antiques centre in Butcher Row and have moved to the new premises in Dyer Lane this year. They open till late on a Friday and Saturday nights. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. They have a specials board with meals of the day as well as the usual menu.
